1. What is behaviour support?

Behaviour support is an evidence-based, person-centred approach to understanding why behaviours of concern occur and developing strategies to improve quality of life.
At Central Coast Behaviour Support, we focus on proactive and positive strategies that reduce behaviours of concern and build skills for independence.


2. Who do you help?

We support children, adolescents, and adults across the Central Coast, including those with:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Intellectual Disability

  • ADHD & FASD

  • Psychosocial disability & mental health conditions

  • Complex behaviours requiring specialist support

We specialise in high and complex needs, including individuals in Supported Independent Living (SIL) or transitioning from hospital or residential care.


3. Are you NDIS registered?

Yes. We are a registered NDIS behaviour support provider. Our services meet all NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements, including compliance with restrictive practices reporting.


4. What areas do you service?

We proudly provide behaviour support services across the Central Coast, including Gosford, Wyong, Tuggerah, The Entrance, and surrounding suburbs.


5. Do you work with children?

Absolutely. We provide child-focused behaviour support that helps with emotional regulation, social skills, daily living independence, and reducing behaviours of concern at home, school, and in the community.


6. Do you provide training for support staff?

Yes. We train and coach families, carers, and support workers to ensure they can confidently follow strategies and support the person effectively.


7. How do I get started?

Simply contact us to discuss your needs. We’ll arrange an initial consultation, request relevant reports or assessments, and work with you to develop a tailored behaviour support plan based on a Functional Behaviour Assessment (FBA).


8. How long does it take to start behaviour support?

Timeframes vary depending on complexity, but typically:

  • Interim strategies can be provided quickly for urgent cases.

  • Comprehensive behaviour support may take a few weeks as we gather information, conduct assessments, and consult with all stakeholders.


9. Do you help with restrictive practices?

Yes. If restrictive practices are in place or required, we work with you to ensure they are:

  • Safely monitored and reported to the NDIS Commission

  • Reviewed regularly with a goal to reduce or eliminate them
